10/30/2009 - Bakersfield, CA to Las Vegas, NV

Had to leave before daybreak from Modesto as my "house batteries" were dead from not have an electrical hookup at Wayne's.   So the only way to charge them was to get on the road for the engine to do it's job!

Got as far as Bakersfield and stayed at an RV park I've stayed at before.   Besides finishing the charge on the house battery I had some insurance paperwork to get done.   In emailing Mom, I found out that my brother, Butch was going to be in Las Vegas for his annual ATRA convention.    So being the sister I am, I decided to "surprise" my brother as he arrived at his hotel.
