11-3 I didn't quite get on the road early enough! The drive to Phoenix was mostly in the dark! I had originally planned to stay overnight in Kingman at the Walmart. But after purchasing few things and asking Walmart personnel if they allowed overnighters, they told me that Walmart didn't have any problem but the local police patrol the parking lot after closing and would ask people to move on! Not knowing for sure what to do, I bought my dinner and settled into staying long enough to get some sleep and get up before I was asked to move! So at midnight or a bit later I started the drive to Phoenix.
A long and tired drive later, I arrived at Cave Creek Regional Park for a stay of a few days in the wee hours of the morning.....still dark!
